Day 1- Naples to Cilento
Drive down to Cilento check-in after 2pm and relax. Cocktail party starting at 5pm proceeding into dinner. Something special to this area is the BBQ Italian style. We will enjoy a fun night with live music and a classic country meal.

Day 2 – Buffalo Mozzarella, Paestum and Pizza
For breakfast, you'll be stopping at the best Buffalo mozzarella factory for a cheese and yogurt tasting. After breakfast, journey to the Greek city of Paestum where you'll see what is described as one of the best-preserved collections of Greek temples in the world. We will have time to visit the site and the museum, before returning to the villa. We are going to make pizza in our own wood-burning brick oven at the villa. Everyone can participate. In the area beer has become popular. We will have a beer tasting of 3 different local brews.

Day 3 - Cooking lesson ** Chestnuts menu** until January
In the heart of the National Park we will stop at a farmhouse to have a Cilento cooking lesson, also known as the Mediterranean diet. We will have time to taste some local wines and learn about the tradition of making herb liquor.
At this time chestnuts are in season. Learn to make desserts and much more. After preparing our 3 course meal we will enjoy the view over the valley eating together.
**Option to visit Agropoli

Day 4 - Breakfast and Pompeii
Say goodbye to Cilento. On our way back to Naples stop at Pompeii for a 2 hour guided tour.

Boat ride on a private “gozza” down the coast. Stopping for swims and a light lunch. Drive back to the villa for pizza night. We will all make pizza together. Tasting local wine and local beer.

Day 3 - Caves and Valley of Calore River
Today we will visit the Caves of Castelcivita and 2 other stops along the river. Breathtaking Valley of Calore is wonderful in all seasons. For lunch we will stop at a farmhouse in the center of the National Park of Cilento. Back to the villa for goodbye dinner.

How many hours a day will we be walking or on a bus?
Every day we will be walking a minimum of 3 hours. There will also be uphill streets and stairs. The bus rides vary in time for 20 minutes to 2 hours. I am traveling alone, will I be the only one? No, on average we have about 15% the group that are singles. Is there a single supplement? And why? Yes, there is. It's $250 for a private room. The reason we have a single supplement is because some hotels do not offer a single rate. So as a single person you are paying a full rate of the room instead of it being divided by two. How can I avoid paying the single supplement? We can match guests with same-sex roommates. We will connect you by email and you can see if you are compatible to share a room. Is my deposit of $200 refundable? No, we have limited space and need a commitment from each guest. Please note that the deposit of $200 per guest is NON-REFUNDABLE except in the case that the trip does not meet the minimum number of participants. The trip's go-status will be confirmed no later than 90 days before departure. How do we pack? We have a Zoom conference with the group before the trip to explain packing and general information; plus a packing list. |
Is an upgrade possible?
Yes, in some of our accommodations upgrades are possible. Many times they are limited and we recommend that you contact us to reserve the room as soon as possible. You will be given a price and charged at the time of booking. All upgrades are non-refundable. The villa has 6 double rooms, 1 quadruple room, and 1 two bedroom apartment with a sofa bed and living area, max 6 guests. Where are we staying? 3 nights in a private villa in the National Park of Cilento. How do I get from Naples to the Villa? There are many transfer companies. We will help you book your transfer as soon as you purchase your tour. You may also drive the villa is gated and has ample parking. How much is the cost of the Transfer? A private transfer is about 150 Euro and the bus shuttle is 45 Euro per person with a minimum of 6 guests. |
