Day 1 - (Saturday) Dublin
Arrive in Ireland, transfer to our hotel in downtown Dublin. Settle in, and in the evening meet us for your welcome dinner. 
Accommodations: Camden Court Hotel 
Meals: Dinner

Day 2 - (Sunday) Newgrange
Newgrange, Stone Age (Neolithic) monument in the Boyne Valley, County Meath is the jewel in the crown of Ireland's Ancient East. Newgrange was constructed about 5,200 years ago (3,200 B.C.) which makes it older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Giza. We will have a guided tour and free time on site to visit the museum shop and have lunch.

Day 3 - (Monday) Kilkenny and Cork
Today we are leaving Dublin for Cork . On our way we are stopping in Kilkenny. We’ll tour the Kilkenny Castle – one of Ireland’s Top 10 castles. Afterwards, we’ll  have free time to walk through its gardens and the cobblestone roads of this quaint village. Tonight, we will end the day with a foodie walking tour of Cork.

Day 4 - (Tuesday) Cobh, the Titanic Experience
This morning we are in Cobh where the Titanic was last seen. Our personal tour guide will take you on a virtual journey to board the tenders and join Titanic for her maiden voyage to New York. Did you survive? After you learn your fate as a passenger, we will return to Cork, the rest of the day on our own.

Day 5 - (Wednesday) The Ring of Kerry 
Bright and early we are moving on to Killarney. We will take the ride around the ring of Kerry. Stopping along the way visiting small villages. We will have dinner in town together after we check-in to our hotel.

Day 6 - (Thursday) Dingle Peninsula
We will explore the Dingle Peninsula stopping to see the inch beach, the longest sandy stretch of beach in Ireland, and we will have free time in the town of Dingle. A few more must-see stops before returning to Killarney for dinner.

Day 7 - (Friday) Cliffs of Moher, Smoked Salmon and Adare
Today we’re on our way to the Cliffs of Moher, a must-see stop when in Ireland. First, we’ll be stopping in Adare, the town known for thatched cottages and shops. You will have free time in town to explore. Next, the cliffs of Moher, then Lisdoonvarna to taste and learn about smoked salmon at the Burren Smokehouse. After our late lunch, we will continue to Galway and checkin to our new hotel.

Day 8 - (Saturday) The Burren
Today, a real treat in the foothills of the Burren is Hazel Mountain Chocolates, a 1950s cottage fronting a state-of-the-art bean-to-bar stone-ground chocolate factory. We will learn all the ins and outs of chocolate. Next stop: The Burren Perfumery. Here, they produce soap, tea, perfumes and an assortment of cosmetics, all from their herb garden. We will enjoy a 3-course lunch made by the Tea Room including the famous brown bread and tea cakes.

Day 9 - ( Sunday) Cong and the Quiet Man
We will start with a proper Irish Breakfast and a relaxing morning in Galway. Then we will head up to Cong, a famous village for films such as “The Quiet Man” and writers such as Oscar Wilde. Free time to explore before our next stop Ashford Castle, one of the best castles in Ireland.  We will then have a private 2-hour cruise to explore the lake's most famous island set on 100 beautiful acres of state-owned forest park. While on the island, passengers are taken on a guided tour of St. Patrick's 5th -Century Monastic site. A musician entertains guests along the way with music, stories and song. Then we will have time in the castel shops and on the grounds before our Goodbye -dinner in the St. George dining room.

Day 10 - (Monday) Say goodbye to Ireland
Transfer to Dublin Airport (DUB)
Meals: Breakfast

Frequently asked questions

How many hours a day will we be walking or on a bus?
Every day we will be walking a minimum of 3 hours. There will also be uphill streets and stairs. The bus rides vary in time for 20 minutes to 2 hours.

I am traveling alone, will I be the only one?
No, on average we have about half the group that are singles.


Is there a single supplement? And why?
No, there is not. All of our tours to Ireland have no single supplement. Space is limited on every tour. It is a special gift from Tierno Tours to our single guests.


Is my deposit of $400 refundable?
No, we have limited space and need a commitment from each guest. Please note that the deposit of $400 per guest
is NON-REFUNDABLE except in the case that the trip does not meet the minimum number of participants.

The trip's go-status will be confirmed no later than 90 days before departure.

How do I book my flights?
As soon as the group is formed we will be sending out a confirmation email with all necessary information. You can contact our agent or if you are booking your own airfare, departure dates and airports will be listed in the confirmation email.


How do we pack?
We have a Zoom conference with the group before the trip to explain packing and general information; plus a packing list.

Do I need Travel Insurance? Where can I purchase Insurance?
We highly recommend Travel Insurance. Travel insurance is based on many factors and the price varies from person to person. You can get a quote from our agent Carol Symington, csymington@AAASJ.COM . Please mention your tour, the dates, price and that it is Tierno Tours. ​

No, This is a land package only.


If booking your own airfare:
Departure from USA or Canada no later than 24 hours before the tour begins.

Is an upgrade possible?
Yes, in some of our accommodations upgrades are possible. Many times they are limited and we recommend that you contact us to reserve the room as soon as possible. You will be given a price and charged at the time of booking. All upgrades are non-refundable.
