Day 1- Monday, June 10th - Arrival in Opatija
Upon arrival in Opatija, you'll be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, embark on a delightful walking tour of Opatija with an English-speaking guide. Explore the charming Kvarner Bay, which holds a significant place in Croatian tourism history. This picturesque city was once a favorite spa resort for the Habsburgs and European aristocracy, including renowned personalities such as Mahler, Chekhov, and Isadora Duncan. End the day with a group dinner and overnight stay in Opatija.

Day 2- Tuesday, June 11th - Istria - Rovinj and Pula 
Today, we'll venture to the beautiful Istrian Peninsula. Our first stop is Pula, where you'll have the chance to marvel at the 2,000-year-old Roman Colosseum. Afterward, we'll continue to the enchanting city of Rovinj, known for its artistic atmosphere and stunning views. Indulge in a group dinner and spend the night in Opatija.

Day 3- Wednesday, June 12th - Istria - Buzet, Groznjan, and Pazin
Immerse yourself in the world of truffles as we explore the best truffle villages in Istria. Our first stop is Pazin, home to the largest and best-preserved medieval fortress in Istria, the Pazin Castle. Next, we'll visit Groznjan, also known as the "Town of Artists," where you can admire the creative spirit and charming architecture. Our final stop is Buzet, the home of the truffle museum, where we'll enjoy a delectable truffle dinner. Overnight stay in Opatija.

Day 4- Thursday, June 13th - Plitvice Lakes
Discover the breathtaking beauty of Plitvice Lakes, the oldest and most stunning national park in Croatia, protected by UNESCO. Explore the park's 16 interconnected lakes and magnificent waterfalls on foot, with a boat ride across the captivating Emerald Green Lake "Kozjak." Spend approximately 4 hours exploring the park before check-in to our new hotel in Zadar. Dinner at the hotel restaurant together.

Day 5- Friday, June 14th- Zadar

Day 1- Saturday, June 15th - Transfer to Ship in Split to Start the Main Cruise
Transfer from the Split airport to Split harbor for check-in from 14.00h onwards. After settling in, enjoy the guided tour of Split, a historic town under UNESCO world heritage protection with an abundance of Roman architecture – of special interest is the magnificent Diocletian Palace, once the home to the Roman Emperor. After the tour, return to the ship for a welcome meet & greet cocktail reception on board. Overnight in Split.

Day 2- Sunday, June 16th - Split, Bol and Hvar 
Morning departure to the island of Brač, where swimming is planned at the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol. Its shingle promontory shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly cause the beach shape to change. Bol is a typical fishermen’s village converted into a popular tourist destination yet retaining its charm. Continue towards the jet-set island of Hvar with lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands.  Hvar is the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, known for lush lavender fields and breath-taking beauty. Arrive in the afternoon for a guided tour of the town’s historical landmarks - the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Hike up the zig-zag path to the town fort overlooking the harbour for lovely scenic views of the vessel and the Pakleni islands. In the evening Hvar offers a great choice of entertainment - numerous restaurants, bars and clubs with many open long into the night. Overnight in the port.

Day 3- Monday, June 17th - Hvar, Bisevo(blue cave), Vis –Early morning cruise towards the small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (entrance to be paid on the spot – approx. 18EUR). As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of a cave visit will depend on those conditions however, you will be notified in time. Continue to the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public for years. Due to this isolation, Vis retains a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to visit. Situated on the northern side of the island, Vis has developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. Sample local wines. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman Thermal Place, the City Museum or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Overnight in the port of Vis.

Day 4- Tuesday, June 18th - Vis , Korcula
Early morning departure towards the island of Korčula, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays en route. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls and one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. The fishbone street pattern was used in Korčula Old Town’s design to provide a natural cooling effect providing citizens with sheltered and comfortable accommodation. Optional excursion to a small village near Korčula for a typical Dalmatian dinner and to find out more about the history and traditional way of living. Overnight in Korčula.

Day 5- Wednesday, June 19th -  Korcula and Mljet   
The next morning, head further south to the Island of Mljet. The legend says Greek hero Odysseus spent years on this island when he was captured by the nymph Calypso. Join the cruise manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to St. Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Alternatively, rent kayaks, bicycles, scooters or convertible cars to roam around the National Park or island on your own, but beware of the nymphs! Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the island. Overnight in port Polača or Pomena.

Day 6- Thursday, June 20th - Mljet and Slano(Ston) 
Departure for the small village of Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen's village and the starting point for Ston, another, once fortified small village. After exploring the town’s vast medieval ramparts, heading for a small village nearby  Mali Ston. Transfer back to the vessel for the Captain’s dinner with live entertainment.

Day 7- Friday, June 21st -  Slano(Ston) and Dubrovnik 
Early morning departure to Dubrovnik, one of the world's most beautifully preserved medieval cities. Before tied up at the Gruž harbour, enjoy a cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls while lunch is served on deck. After docking, transfer to the old town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Take the cable car from the Old Town to Srđ mountain to enjoy scenic views of the Walls and the Elaphiti Islands. Meander through the narrow streets, exploring the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture or walk on top of the 1940 m long city walls. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

After breakfast we will transfer from Croatia to Montenegro. Kotor, where we will spend the next 4 days. The old town of Kotor is small and can be easily walked around in a few hours, yet it is incredibly rich in things to see. we'll check-in and meet for dinner as a group.

Day 2- Sunday, June 23rd- 
Full day to explore Kotor Bay. We'll visit two towns and have free time to see the sites before we head back to our hotel we will have a guided town of the old city. Dinner together.

Day 3- Monday, June 24th - Budva
Full day in the Budva. We'll stop in the old town, plus 2 other main sites. beach time for everyone on one of the best beaches on the Adriatic. Dinner together.

About our Ship
The deluxe superior, Nautilus is a newer and larger vessels, the one of best vessels that exist on the Adriatic sea built with high-quality materials of solid wood, glass, marble, stainless steel and similar materials. Minimum 47 meters in length, newly built or refurbished, with hot tubs and beautiful sun decks with lounge area, deckchairs and more. Spacious, superbly designed, air-conditioned en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, 15 to 20m2 in size. Cabins are equipped with wardrobes, deposit box, hairdryer, bathroom toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, LCD TV, etc.

Frequently asked questions

My partner is not vegan. Can he/she order non-vegan meals?
All the food we serve is vegan. You do have free time and some meals on your own where you can purchase whatever you like.

I am traveling alone, will I be the only one?
No, on average we have about half the group that are singles.

Is there a single supplement? And why?
Yes, there is. It's $650 for a private room. The reason we have a single supplement is because some cabins do not offer a single rate. So as a single person you are paying a full rate of the room instead of it being divided by two.

How can I avoid paying the single supplement?
We can match guests with same-sex roommates. We will connect you by email and you can see if you are compatible to share a room. 

How many hours a day will we be walking or on a bus?
Every day we will be walking a minimum of 3 hours. There will also be uphill streets and stairs. The bus rides vary in time for 20 minutes to 2 hours.

Is my deposit of $600 refundable?
No, we have limited space and need a commitment from each guest. Please note that the deposit of $600 per guest
is NON-REFUNDABLE except in the case that the trip does not meet the minimum number of participants.
The trip's go-status will be confirmed no later than September 15, 2024.

How do we pack?
We have a Zoom conference with the group before the trip to explain packing and general information, plus a packing list.

Do I need Travel Insurance? Where can I purchase Insurance?
We highly recommend Travel Insurance.  You can get a quote from Carol Symington, [email protected] Travel insurance is based on many factors and the price varies from person to person.

Is my flight included?
No, this is a land package only.

How do I book my flights?
